Be a koala friendly driver
With koalas on the move across the City of Logan searching for mates and new territory, motorists are urged to help them stay safe on the road.
Drivers should slow down between dusk and dawn, watch for local koala zones, drive within the speed limit and scan the roadside for movement over the coming months.
Sick or injured koalas can be reported to the RSPCA on 1300 ANIMAL (1300 264 265) or Wildcare on 55 272 444.

Artists step Beyond Frames at HAPPENING in Logan
Logan Art Gallery will become a blank canvas for a unique live art experience when HAPPENING in Logan takes place on Friday, September 4.
Seven contemporary artists will transform the empty gallery with free live performances, installations, sound works and interactive experiences from 5pm to 9pm (doors open at 4.30pm).
Inspired by the experimental "Happenings" movement of the 1960s and 1970s, the event will feature a series of creative encounters by Sebastian Moody, Unregistered Master Builder, Olympic Pool Maintenance League, Felicity Mohr, Ross Manning, Kellie O'Dempsey and Renee Kire.
Entry to HAPPENING in Logan is free but bookings are essential via loganarts.com.au
HAPPENING in Logan will officially launch Beyond frames, a major new exhibition presented through the National Gallery of Australia's Sharing the National Collection initiative.
Beyond frames, which opens on Saturday, September 12, showcases more than five decades of groundbreaking video art from leading Australian and international artists.
KRANK program returns with water sports and line dancing fun these school holidays
Young people can look forward to a mix of returning favourites and new experiences during Logan City Council's next school holiday program.
The KRANK School Holiday Program (from Saturday, September 19 to Sunday, October 4) includes wakeboarding sessions returning after a winter break at Bayside Wake Park, and Gilly's Line Dancing, which proved a hit during its KRANK debut in June.

Logan Art Gallery and Logan Libraries will also run school holiday activities.
The free activities at Logan Libraries include cartooning and writing workshops with award winning artist and author Peter Carnavas, stop motion animation with DigiTech Tinker Lab, Lego model building, resume writing for teens, a young adult book club, mask making and ancient history craft adventures.
Logan Art Gallery will host a range of interesting activities including life drawing and figure sketching session for teens, a 3D paper workshop and a mending workshop.
