Nominations for the 2023 Brimbank Australia Day Awards are now open and we're calling on the community to nominate inspirational individuals who deserve recognition.
Each year, Brimbank City Council invites nominations for the Australia Day Awards to recognise the exceptional contributions, hard work, and determination of individuals making a positive impact on our community.
The awards will be presented as part of Brimbank Council's Australia Day event on Wednesday 26 January 2023.
There are two categories to nominate for the awards:
- Brimbank Citizen of the Year Award
For Brimbank citizens over 26 years of age (on 26 January 2023) who have demonstrated an outstanding contribution to the Brimbank community over the past year or over a number of years.
- Brimbank Young Citizen of the Year Award
For Brimbank citizens under 26 years of age (on 26 January 2023) who have demonstrated an outstanding contribution to the Brimbank community over the past year or over a number of years.
These awards are open to all Australian citizens who are living in the City of Brimbank.
Nominations for Brimbank City Council's 2023 Australia Day Awards will close on Friday 2 December 2022 at 5pm.
