Perth Detectives are investigating an assault that occurred around 12.45am this morning (23 August) on Francis Street in Northbridge.
Four women ages in their 30s were walking on Francis Street when two unknown women became aggressive towards them. One of the offenders sprayed the women with pepper spray.
As one of the victims went to assist her friend who had fallen to the ground, put her hand up against the pepper spray and one of the offender's cut her hand, possibly with a small knife.
Two of the victims attended the Emergency Department of Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
