Northern District Police drug strikes

Northern District Police have made drug arrests and seizures across two separate investigations.

On Saturday 5 March, police a Parafield Gardens address and conducted a search in relation to suspected drug dealing. Police located approximately 27 grams of methamphetamine, 11 grams of heroin, 0.6 grams of Buprenorphine, 10 millilitres of Fantasy and 96 Xanax tablets. Police also located and seized almost $13,000 cash.

A 37-year-old Parafield Gardens man was charged with trafficking in a controlled drug and money laundering. He was refused bail and will face the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.

The following day (Sunday 6 March), police attended a Salisbury Downs address and conducted a search, locating about 28 grams of methamphetamine, several thousand dollars in cash and a gel blaster. A 34-year-old woman from Salisbury Downs was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled drug and money laundering. She was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 27 April.
