November Makes the Month of ECOVACS ROBOTICS – Being the Best in Class in RVC Globally

Black Friday and Double 11 sales broke ECOVACS records in ten countries

ECOVACS ROBOTICS, a leader in Home Robotic Vacuum Cleaner (RVC) category, said its peak holiday sales season kick-off saw a big boost globally from online purchases on Black Friday and Double 11 — also known as Singles Day in China. The twin holidays wrap up a year of global expansion milestones for ECOVACS, which saw the company’s strong moves in the world’s top three robotics markets — China, United States and Japan. In the United States, ECOVACS is collaborating with the country’s top big-box retailers to boost its presence and sales; earlier in May, ECOVACS launched its APAC sales and marketing hub in Hong Kong; while in September the company announced its innovative new AI technology for floor cleaning robots at IFA 2018 in Berlin in September.

ECOVACS’ commitment to go global in 2018 is already registering outstanding results from Black Friday sales around the world with its DEEBOT N79S being the top selling vacuum cleaning robot in international markets. In the United States, ECOVACS achieved big success in omni-channel sales, and has to date, recorded a sales growth of 100 percent during the Black Friday period in 2018. In Europe, consumers in Germany, Spain, Italy, France and UK favored the DEEBOT OZMO 930, which features advanced mapping technology and powerful vacuuming and mopping capabilities, as the robot dominated top spots in the mapping robotic vacuum product categories in these markets. DEEBOT N79 is another spotlight in Japan, claiming the Amazon Best Seller spot in the robotic vacuum product category.

In China, the peak sales season began on Double 11 (11 November) when the company achieved a sales record of CNY700 million. ECOVACS was ranked the number one brand in the robotic vacuum product category, making it one of the top ten home appliances companies. Meanwhile, the DEEBOT DJ35 was the fastest floor cleaning robot to achieve 100,000 units’ sales on Double 11.
