NSW man charged over outstanding warrant in state's north

A man will appear in court today after he was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the state’s north yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 12.30pm yesterday, the 22-year-old man was arrested by officers attached to Tweed/Byron Local Area Command at Banora Point, after being wanted by local police for the last month.

The man was taken to Tweed Heads Police Station, where he was charged with multiple offences relating to alleged stolen motor vehicles, break and enter, and trespass offences.

He will appear in Tweed Local Court today.
