NSW Police Investigate Suspicious South Grafton Blaze

Police are appealing for information into a suspicious house fire at South Grafton last night.

Emergency services were called to the property on Bligh Street about 11.40pm (Wednesday 11 January 2024), following reports a building was on fire.

Fire and Rescue NSW crews attended and extinguished the fire; however, the building was destroyed.

Officers from Coffs-Clarence Police District established a crime scene and have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the blaze.

As inquiries continue, police are urging anyone who may have information or who may have witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
