NSW Police Seek Missing Elderly Man from Matraville

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's Eastern Beaches.

Rudolph Pazderka, aged 88, was last seen at a shopping centre on Bunnerong Road, Hillsdale, about 10.40am today (Monday 22 January 2024).

When he could not be located, officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia.

Rudolph – also known as Rudi – is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 170cm tall, of medium build, with white hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with dots, grey long pants and black shoes.

He is known to frequent the Matraville and Maroubra areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
