The Northern Territory is today reporting the deaths of two people from COVID-19.

A man in his 90s from the Wagait Shire region had underlying health conditions and passed away at Royal Darwin Hospital.

A man in his 70s from Greater Darwin had underlying health conditions and passed away at Royal Darwin Hospital.

The total number of COVID-19 related deaths recorded in the NT since the start of the pandemic is 73.

There were 339 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the NT in the seven days to 4pm on 29 September 2022.

There are currently 12 patients in hospital. There are no patients requiring oxygen or in ICU.
