Police are in attendance at a serious crash involving a car and pedestrian on State Highway 10, south of Waipapa.
The incident was reported just after 11am and the pedestrian involved is in a critical condition.
They are being airlifted to hospital.
No road closures are in place, however one lane on State Highway 10 is currently blocked.
The Police Serious Crash Unit will be attending the scene and an investigation will commence into the circumstances of the crash.
