Police can now name the man who died in a crash on Hampden-Palmerston Road (SH 1) on 18 December.
He was Raymond Brent Gordon (known as Brent Gordon), aged 71, of Christchurch.
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this difficult time.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
