'Off Track' Easter Street Party set to light up Stawell

The 'Off the Track' Easter Street Party returns to Stawell for another edition this Easter Saturday, with the popular, free family friendly event as jam-packed as ever with activities for all to enjoy.

Quickly becoming a feature of the Easter long weekend in the Northern Grampians Shire, this year's party will again feature live music, various food and drink stalls and activities from 6pm-10pm in Victoria Street, punctuated with a spectacular fireworks display at 8.30pm.

Live music will be performed by Matty Chaps Band, while food and beverage stalls include Healthy Impulse, Grumpy's Smoker, Prickly Moses, European Barbeque, Pick a Pita Kebab as well as a sausage sizzle prepared by Stawell's Mothers Day Classic group.

Mayor of Northern Grampians Shire Council, Cr Kevin Erwin said, "After a day at the Gift there is still plenty to do in Stawell in the evening with the 'Off the Track' Easter Street Party."

"And with it all culminating with the fireworks later that night, it's going to be a great place for families to come together and enjoy the evening."

Alongside the street party will also be the Stawell Lions Club's annual carnival event at Cato Park, featuring a whole host of rides and attractions to keep the young and young at heart entertained.

And for those looking for a more sedate place to take in the evening's atmosphere, a wine and cheese event will be taking place at the Stawell Railway Station from 6.30pm.

These are just a few of the many events happening around the shire across the Easter long weekend, to check out what else is on, visit https://www.ngshire.vic.gov.au/Events/Events-Calendar.
