Officer charged - North West Metropolitan Region 2 February

A police officer has been charged following an investigation into alleged larceny-related offences.

Officers attached to Professional Standards Command established Strike Force Namsos and, on Friday 12 January 2024, investigators executed a search warrant at the officer's home and work locker.

The 42-year-old constable – who is attached to a command in North West Metropolitan Region – was today (Friday 2 February 2024), served with a court attendance notice for two counts of larceny as a public servant.

She will appear in Hornsby Local Court on Wednesday 20 March 2024.

The officer is currently suspended from duty with pay. Her employment status remains under review.
