A police officer has been charged following investigations by police in Sydney's south.
The charge relates to an alleged incident on Saturday 28 May 2022, involving an off-duty 33-year-old male sergeant, who is attached to a specialist command.
Following inquiries, the officer was issued a court attendance notice for malicious damage today (Thursday 18 August 2022) and is due to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday 13 October 2022.
The officer's employment status is currently under review.
