A serving police officer will appear in Court after being charged with sexual assault-related offences following an investigation.
On Sunday 28 December 2025, detectives from North Shore Police Area Command received a complaint of a domestic violence related sexual assault which is alleged to have occurred on two occasions earlier in that month.
Following an investigation, about 8.25am today (Thursday 2 July 2026), a 22-year-old Probationary Constable attached to a command in the Central Metropolitan Region – was arrested at Chatswood Police Station and charged with two offences – sexual intercourse without consent (DV).
He was refused bail to appear in Bail Division – Court 7 tomorrow (Friday 3 July 2026).
The officer has been suspended from duty without pay.
