Offspring TV writer Debra Oswald is coming to Castle Hill Library

Offspring TV writer Debra Oswald is coming to Castle Hill Library for one night only event!

Join playwright, screenwriter and novelist, Debra Oswald at Castle Hill Library on Tuesday, May 24 as she discusses her newest book, The Family Doctor.

Debra is a two-time winner of the NSW Premier's Literary Award and the creator and head writer of the first five seasons of the Australian hit contemporary drama TV series, Offspring.

She's also written the novels Useful (2015) and The Whole Bright Year (2018) and her plays have been performed all over the world.

Adding to her successful writing career, Debra has a number of television credits to her name, including Police Rescue, The Secret Life of Us, Sweet and Sour and Bananas in Pyjamas.

And she's written a number of children's books, including The Redback Leftovers, Getting Air and Blue Noise.

The Hills Shire Library Service is very excited to welcome Debra for a special evening to discuss her latest read.
