Proudly supported by the Cook Labor Government, the Ord Valley Muster kicks off today to celebrate its 25th anniversary, with thousands of out-of-region visitors expected to attend.

The iconic annual festival is an established highlight on Western Australia's regional events calendar, attracting thousands of attendees in 2025, many of whom were visitors from outside the region, and generating millions of dollars for the local economy.

Running from 15-24 May 2026, the festival promises the return of the popular Muster Rodeo, Corroboree Under the Stars, and Comedy in the Park as well as an array of new events and experiences for visitors to explore.

Across ten days, visitors can enjoy a varied program of arts, culture and nature experiences, culminating in the renowned Kimberley Moon Experience - a spectacular open-air concert by the Ord River which includes the Kimberley Fine Diamonds Dinner, a black-tie event offering gourmet dining and exclusive concert access under the stars.

The WA Government has supported the Ord Valley Muster for more than 20 years through Tourism WA and Royalties for Regions, with events playing a significant role in diversifying the State's economy and supporting local jobs and businesses.

Held each May, the Ord Valley Muster provides a time-specific reason for travellers to explore the vast Kimberley region during the peak dry season and is one of the many vibrant regional offerings that are part of the Cook Labor Government's always on, year-round calendar of events.
