OSCE Backs Dayton Accord, Bosnia's Constitution

OSCE

The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina reaffirms its unwavering support for the Dayton Peace Agreement and the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which forms an integral part of the Agreement.

Rhetoric that suggests an end to the state of BiH or of the entities within that state contradicts the Dayton Peace Agreement, threatens the stability and unity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and risks undermining both regional stability and the progress achieved to date.

The Mission therefore urges all political actors, particularly those holding public office, to refrain from divisive rhetoric and actions that fuel tension or mistrust, including through the exploitation of ethnic prejudice, and instead focus on achieving tangible progress in the interests of all citizens.
