Outdoor Pool Reopens, Aqua Aerobics Schedule Grows

The countdown to warmer weather is on, with the Griffith Regional Aquatic and Leisure Centre (GRALC) set to officially open its 50-metre outdoor pool for the 2026/27 season on Monday, 28 September 2026.

As temperatures begin to rise, residents are encouraged to make the most of the outdoor facility, whether for lap swimming, fitness, recreation or family fun throughout the warmer months.

Aqua fitness enthusiasts also have plenty to look forward to, with outdoor Aqua Aerobics classes returning from Monday, 18 October 2026.

Coinciding with the return of outdoor classes, GRALC has finalised its latest Aqua Aerobics timetable, offering an expanded range of indoor and outdoor sessions designed to cater for a variety of fitness levels, abilities and schedules.

The updated timetable includes the addition of a new Tuesday evening class at 6.30pm, providing greater flexibility for participants who prefer to exercise outside traditional daytime hours.

GRALC encourages both new and existing participants to explore the updated program and enjoy the many physical, social and wellbeing benefits that Aqua Aerobics can provide.
