Emergency responses to fire and other emergency incidents will be significantly enhanced with the new Palmerston Regional Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services complex.

The Territory Labor Government invested $25 million into the complex that will provide a modern facility to meet community needs.

Construction of the complex is almost complete with the final fit-out underway.

The location on Howard Springs Road provides ready access for NT Fire and Rescue Service and NT Emergency Service to respond to incidents in Palmerston and the region.

The facility has been built by local company C&R Constructions, supporting 240 jobs during the build.

The complex will be formally opened before the end of the year.
