Are you interested in managing and enhancing Camden's much-loved weekly produce markets at Camden Town Farm?

Camden Council will shortly be inviting expressions of interest from prospective market operators to submit an application that details their suitability, ability and capacity to market, manage, operate and improve the weekly produce markets in a manner that aligns with the community's values and the objectives of the Camden Community Strategic Plan (CSP).

The expressions of interest will open on Tuesday 27 January 2026 and conclude on Friday 27 February 2026.

The successful operator will operate under a two-year term, with options to extend for a further two years. They will also honor the legacy of Miss Llewella Davies OAM, ensuring Camden Town Farm remains a vital community agricultural resource while driving innovation, sustainability, and inclusive community engagement.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said it was unique opportunity to partner with Council and local fresh food producers continue to activate one of Camden's most iconic and valued public spaces.

"We want to work with someone who is just as committed as Council on delivering the vision for Camden Town Farm Produce Markets - to support local farmers and producers by providing a weekly platform for them to sell directly to residents and visitors of Camden at a historic, serene and unique location," she said.

"Camden has a wonderful reputation as a regional hub for local food, farming and agritourism experiences, and we want to work with someone who understands that and has aspirations to improve even more."

"The produce markets will continue to operate weekly in the current section of Camden Town Farm, with options to extend into currently unused areas."
