Passenger screening: Arriving in Adelaide from Melbourne, South Australia

Travellers arriving in South Australia from Victoria will be subject to increased scrutiny following recent cases of COVID-19.

South Australia Police are screening passengers arriving from Victoria, at the Adelaide Airport and road border checkpoints at Yamba and Pinnaroo, regarding attendance at locations in Victoria that are exposure sites for COVID-19.

The Victorian Department of Health has listed a number of locations on their website www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/case-locations-and-outbreaks which have been identified during contact tracing.

People arriving in Adelaide who have attended any of the listed locations may be required to self-quarantine for 14 days and submit to COVID-19 tests on day 1, day 5 and day 12.

People intending to travel to South Australia from Victoria are urged to check the website before leaving and do not travel if they have visited any of the locations.
