Through the new Alumni Scholarship, you can receive a guaranteed 20 percent tuition discount to earn a professional masters or doctorate of education at Peabody College of education and human development. Vanderbilt seniors who sign up for the Early Start program are also eligible.
The Alumni Scholarship applies to nearly all masters and doctor of education* programs at Peabody College.
Alumni Scholarship Eligible Programs
- All on-campus professional masters and doctor of education programs offered through Peabody College are eligible.

In 2025, 97.4 percent of admitted students seeking financial aid received scholarship offers, with 86.6 percent receiving awards of 35 percent or higher.
All admitted students are automatically considered for applicable scholarships; no separate application is required. Applicants do not pay a fee to apply to any professional masters or Ed.D. programs. Many alumni are also eligible for merit scholarships; however, admitted students can only receive one scholarship. If alumni are awarded a merit scholarship, they will receive the higher funding amount. All admitted students are notified about their scholarship award in their admissions letter.
