Pedestrian dies after Coburg North collision

A man has died in hospital after he was struck by a car in Coburg North last month.

Emergency services were called to reports of the collision on 7 April about 12.20pm.

The man was crossing Sydney Road at the intersection of Bakers Road when he was struck by a vehicle turning into Sydney Road.

The 92-year-old was transported to hospital with serious injuries, where he sadly died on 19 April.

The male driver of the vehicle, a 25-year-old Hadfield man, was not injured and is continuing to assist police with their enquiries.
