Pedestrian hit by car at Strathalbyn

A man has been arrested following a crash at Strathalbyn this morning.

Just before 8.30am on Saturday 2 December, emergency services were called to Bosisto Lane after reports a pedestrian was struck by a car.

The pedestrian, a 15-year-old boy sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the Women's and Children's hospital for treatment.

The suspect vehicle, a Holden SUV was located nearby, and the driver later arrested.

A 52-year-old local man has been charged with aggravated assault cause harm and manner dangerous.

He has been bailed to attend at the Mount Barker Magistrates Court on 24 January 2024.
