Peppermint Grove Crash Investigation

Traffic Enforcement Group officers are seeking information regarding a vehicle being driven in the Peppermint Grove area on Sunday 13 February 2022, which was involved in a crash.
About 6:20am police were called to a service station on Stirling Highway in relation to a damaged vehicle that came to a stop outside the service station.
It has since been established a blue Mazda CX-7 was being driven on Stirling Highway when the driver failed to negotiate a bend in the road, resulting in the vehicle striking the kerb twice which caused significant damage to the vehicle.
The damaged vehicle continued along Stirling Highway and activated a fixed site speed camera, before stopping outside the service station.
Police attended the scene and spoke to the driver.
A 40-year-old man, who was 39 years old at the time of the incident, has been advised he will be charged by summons in relation to the incident.
Traffic officers would like to hear from anyone who saw the blue Mazda CX-7 being driven in the Peppermint Grove and surrounding areas prior to the crash.
