Perth Market Snapshot for Week Ending 25 September 2022

Sales activity decreased 2.2 per cent in Perth last week, withREIWA membersreporting 833 transactions.

A closer look shows house sales were down by 1.6 per cent, unit sales decreased by 6.1 per cent and vacant land sales increased by 4.3 per cent.

Properties for sale

There were 8,096properties for sale in Perthat the end of last week, which is an decrease of 2.5 per cent compared to the previous week.

This can be attributed to a 3.7 per cent decrease in house listings, a 1.4 per cent decrease in unit listings and a 1.4 per cent decrease in vacant land listings.

Last week's total figure is 3.7 per cent lower than four weeks ago and 3.3 per cent lower than a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 1,675properties for rent in Perthat the end of last week, which is a decrease of 5.7 per cent compared to the previous week.

Last week's rental listings figure is 12.2 per cent lower than four weeks ago and 25.8 per cent lower than a year ago.

Leasing activity decreased 18.5 per cent in Perth last week, with REIWA members reporting 560 properties leased.
