Perth Market Snapshot for week ending 30 August 2020

Sales activity increased two per centin Perth this week, with REIWA members reporting 838 transactions.

This increase can be attributed to atwo per cent rise in house sales, no change in unit sales, and six per centrise in vacant land sales over the week.

Properties for sale

There were 10,763 properties for sale in Perth at the end of this week, which is in line with last week.

A closer look at listing stock levelsshows house listings decreased by two per cent, listings for units remainedstable and listings for vacant land increased by two per cent.

This week's total figure is on par with levels seen four weeks ago, but are 22per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were3,206 properties for rent in Perth at the end of this week, which is three percent less than last week.

This week's rental listings figure is10 per cent lower than levels seen four weeks ago and 51 per cent lower than levelsseen a year ago.
