A new report released by consumer rights advocacy group Public Citizen based on leaked Pfizer contracts found the vaccine maker uses its power to "shift risk and maximize profits".
At the moment, the US pharmaceutical giant keeps secret its negotiations and prices agreed with governments around the world.
According to the report, Pfizer’s demands which were also called “unfair and abusive" by Brazil, for example, have generated outrage around the world, slowing purchase agreements and even pushing back the delivery schedule of vaccines.
