As part of a five-year Strategic Agreement with Medicines Australia, the Department of Health has been working on streamlined medicines-listing processes and revised cost recovery arrangements.
It is envisaged that these changes will ensure that Australians continue to receive timely and affordable access to necessary medicines.
The webinar, to be held this Friday 5 April from 12pm to 1.30pm, will provide an overview for industry, consumers and clinicians of the changes, including information on the Positive Recommendation Pathways and other new processes which will apply from 1 July 2019.
In addition, there will a live Q & A session at the end of the webinar.
The webinar, procedure guidance and any relevant documents will be available online from 8 April to 22 April.
