Play Equipment For Light Horse Reserve: Bayside

Bayside Council will investigate improvements to Light Horse Reserve, Eastlakes following a decision at the Council Meeting on Wednesday 22 October.

The local community will be asked for their ideas about better lighting, a children's playground and other improvements.

Council is currently in negotiations with Transport for NSW over the long term tenure for Alf Kay Community Centre and the adjoining Light Horse Reserve in Eastlakes.

Light Horse Reserve is the closest green space to Slattery Place, a large social housing complex and families in the immediate area have limited access to local amenities and facilities.

A report including community feedback on potential improvements to Light Horse Reserve as well as the progress on secure tenure over Alf Kay Community Centre and the adjoining reserve, will be presented to Council at a future Council Meeting.
