Police appeal for information after sexual assault in Bundoora

Mernda Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are appealing for public assistance after a man sexually assaulted a woman in Bundoora last month.

Investigators have been told a woman was walking along a walking track between McLeans Road and Greenhills Road when a man engaged her in conversation around 4.10pm on Thursday, 28 October.

The man then sexually assaulted the woman and rode off towards Greenhills Road.

Detectives have released a face-fit image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, aged 27-30 years, about 170cm tall, with blue eyes, a slim build, mousey blonde hair and acne.

He was wearing a white tee shirt and shorts and was riding a multi-coloured bike with a white shopping bag tied to the handlebars.
