Police appeal for witnesses after Noble Park stabbing

Police are appealing for witnesses following a road rage and stabbing in Noble Park last week.

It is understood two Toyota Hilux's were involved in a road rage incident on the south bound Eastlink between Princes Highway and Cheltenham Road on Wednesday, 6 April about 4.15pm.

It is believed a 39-year-old man got out of his vehicle, after being tailgated by a 23-year-old male driver.

The 23-year-old driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, remained in his car. It is understood he stabbed the 39-year-old Dandenong man in his hand.

The Dandenong man was treated at the scene and later went to hospital with minor injuries.

The 23-year-old Carrum Downs man was arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
