Police appeal to find man missing from Sydney's Northern Beaches

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's Northern Beaches.

James Geddes, aged 78, was last seen about 6am today (Tuesday 3 January 2023), at his home on Ocean Street, Narrabeen.

When he could not be located, he was reported missing to officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command, who commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age and medical conditions that may make his appear confused or disoriented. He has no money or phone with him.

Mr Geddes is described as being of Caucasian appearance with olive skin, receding dark grey hair and a moustache. He is believed to be wearing grey cargo pants, T-shirt and black sneakers.

He uses public transport and is also familiar with the Circular Quay/Sydney CBD area.
