Police appeal to locate boy missing from Dapto

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy reported missing from Dapto.

Charles 'Charlie' Dombkins, aged 13, was last seen at a mall on Moombara Street, Dapto, about 12pm today (Thursday 7 September 2023).

When he could not be located, officers from Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare due to his age.

Charlie is described as being of African appearance, about 145cm tall, of thin build, with short dark curly hair.

He was last seen wearing black shorts, a blue puffer jacket and carrying a black backpack.

He is known to frequent the Unanderra, Figtree, Cordeaux Heights and Farmborough Heights areas.

Anyone who sees Charlie or has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
