Police Seek Leads After Napier Ram Raid

Police are appealing for information following a ram raid at a dairy on Meeanee Road, Napier, in the early hours of Monday morning.

At approximately 2.50am on 10 August, offenders used a vehicle to force entry into the store before stealing various products.

The offenders fled the scene prior to Police arrival.

Police are particularly interested in information relating to a silver Toyota Aqua, or a similar vehicle, which is believed to have been involved in the incident.

An investigation is underway, including enquiries to identify those responsible and reviewing CCTV footage.

Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the Meeanee Road area around the time of the burglary, or who has information about the vehicle involved, is asked to contact Police online at 105.police.govt.nz, clicking "Update Report", or call 105 and quote the relevant file number 260810/9342.

Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
