Police appeal to locate elderly man missing from Kogarah

A geo-target message is being issued to the Kogarah and Rockdale areas as police continue to search for an elderly man missing from south Sydney.

Wen Tong Wang, aged 79, was last seen at a unit on Green Street, Kogarah, about 4.30pm today (Wednesday 26 October 2022).

When he failed to return home and could not be contacted, concerned family members contacted officers from St George Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold concerns for Wen's welfare as he lives with dementia.

Wen is described as being of Asian appearance, about 175cm tall, of thin build, bald and clean shaven.

He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, a long-sleeved black shirt, brown pants and dark coloured running shoes.

Anyone with information on Wen's whereabouts is urged to come forward and contact St George police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
