Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman missing from Sydney's Inner West.
Maria Bokay, aged 87, was last seen on Burwood Road, Burwood, about 11am today (Wednesday 3 August 2022).
Officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified she was missing and commenced inquiries to locate her.
Family and police hold serious concerns for her welfare due to Maria living with severe dementia.
Maria is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, between 150cm – 155cm tall, of medium build, with red hair.
She was last seen wearing a white overcoat and white hat.
