Police appeal to locate elderly woman missing from Greenacre

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's south west.

Zhiying Sun, aged 90, was last seen leaving her house at Lascelles Avenue, Greenacre, about 7am today (Sunday 30 October 2022).

When she could not be located or contacted, police attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Zhiying's welfare due to her age, health conditions and her disappearance being out of character.

Zhiying is described as being of Asian appearance, about 148cm tall, of thin build and short grey hair. She does not speak English and only speaks Mandarin (Chinese).

Anyone with information into Zhiying's whereabouts is urged to contact Bankstown Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
