Police Appeal To Locate Girl Missing From Central Coast 9 July

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from the Central Coast.

Jessica Knight-Barendse, aged 14, was last seen in Mardi, near The Entrance, about 4am today (Wednesday 9 July 2025).

When she was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for Jessica's welfare due to her age.

Jessica is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 165cm tall, with a slim build and long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing grey tracksuit pants and a black jumper.

She is known to use the railway network between the Central Coast and Liverpool areas.
