Police appeal to locate man missing from Koonawarra

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Illawarra area.

Jason Dungay, aged 31, was last seen walking along the Princes Highway, Kembla Grange, around 1.30pm yesterday (Saturday 6 January 2023).

Unable to be located or contacted since, officers from Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Jason.

Jason is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 185cm tall, large build, has dark hair usually tied up in a bun, and is clean shaven.

He was last seen wearing a white collared shirt, black shorts, and was not wearing shoes.

Jason is known to frequent North Wollongong Beach.
