Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Heckenberg 27 April

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's south west.

Jerald (Jerry) Cachia, aged 82, was last seen on Guthega Crescent, Heckenberg, about 10:30am today (Monday 27 April 2026).

When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia.

Jerry is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 167cm tall, with thin build, blue eyes, balding/grey hair and missing several front teeth.

He was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit and black "New Balance" sneakers.

He is known to frequent the Heckenberg, Busby and Miller areas.
