Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's northwest.
John El Yurk, aged 52, was last seen at a hospital on Hainsworth Street, Westmead, about 3.30pm yesterday (20 May 2026).
When he was unable to be located or contacted since, officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and his family have concerns for his welfare.
John is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build with grey hair.
He was last seen wearing a fluorescent-yellow hooded jersey, black pants, and white sneakers.
John is known to frequent the Parramatta area.
