Police appeal to locate man missing from North Shore 5 July

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's North Shore.

Edward West, aged 45, was last seen leaving Royal North Shore Hospital just after 5.30pm on Monday (3 July 2023).

When he could not be located, officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Edward's welfare due to a medical condition.

Edward is described as having a dark complexion, about 180cm to 185cm tall, with a large build, short brown greying hair, grey beard, and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a grey 'Raiders' hooded jumper, black shorts and a black cap.

Edward is known to frequent the North Shore, Northern Beaches and Gosford areas.

Anyone with information of his whereabouts is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
