Police appeal to locate man missing in state's north

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing in the state's north.

Naru Ormond, aged 32, was last seen on Villers Street, Grafton, about 4.30am today (Saturday 2 December 2023).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Coffs Clarence Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare.

Naru is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, about 180cm tall with a large build, short black hair and no facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a light blue t-shirt and green camo-pattern pants.
