Police appeal to locate missing Queensland woman

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing woman.

Amanda Petty, aged 42, was last seen at Kariboe Street, Biloela, on Wednesday 15 February 2023.

Amanda told family she was camping at Mount Morgan, but she failed to return home on Sunday 19 February 2023 as planned.

When she could not be located, police were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police believe she may be in the Byron Bay or Lismore areas.

Amanda is described as being of Caucasian appearance, around 155cm tall, with medium build and medium-long dark hair.

Anyone who sees Amanda or knows of her current whereabouts is urged not to approach her, but to contact Richmond Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
