Police are appealing for public assistance to locate missing sisters in the Redfern area.
Matilda Lowa, aged 14, and her sister Penelope, aged 11, were last seen around 12pm on Tuesday 15 April 2025 at Redfern.
When they could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Port Stephens/Hunter Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into their whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for their welfare due to their young ages.
Matilda is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 168cm tall, of medium build, medium complexion, with light brown shoulder-length hair.
Penelope is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 170cm tall, of thin build, medium complexion, with curly dark brown length brown hair and brown eyes.
They are known to frequent the Maitland, Newcastle, East Maitland and Redfern areas.
Inquiries by police indicate that Penelope may be still in the Sydney area, but the sisters may no longer be together.
