Police appeal to locate missing teenager - south west Sydney

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Merrylands.

Essra Elashwah, aged 15, was last seen at a friend's house in Liverpool on Saturday afternoon (22 October 2022).

When she failed to return home the next day as arranged, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family continue to hold concerns for Essra's welfare due to her young age.

Essra is described as having an olive complexion, about 170cm tall, with a thin build, and brown hair tied in a bun.

She was last seen wearing a black top, blue jeans and white Nike shoes.

Essra uses the public transport network and is known to frequent Liverpool Plaza, Bankstown Shopping Centre and uses public transport.
