Police appeal to locate missing woman - South West Sydney 2 November

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from South West Sydney.

Katherine Tran, aged 18, was last seen at home on Wingello Street, Guildford, about 1am today (Wednesday 2 October 2022).

When she could not be located, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Katherine is described as being of Asian appearance, about 155cm tall, with solid build and dark hair.

She is likely to be wearing a black Lonsdale zip-up hoodie, a green skirt, slippers and carrying a black bag.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare as she lives with autism.

She is known to frequent the Parramatta Westfields and CBD, and the Richmond area and may be travelling on the train network.

Police believe she may have attended Merrylands Train Station about 3.30am today (Wednesday 2 October 2022).
