Police Appeal To Locate Teenager Missing From Kogarah

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney's south.

Jacod Luu, aged 16, was last seen on English Street, Kogarah, about 7.30am today (Wednesday 20 August 2025).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts. He may have been at Kogarah Railway Station about 8am.

Police hold concerns for Jacob's welfare due to his young age and he lives with autism.

Jacob is described as being of Asian appearance, 184cm tall, thin build, with short black hair and black/brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a navy-blue school uniform and carrying a backpack.

He is known to frequent Kogarah and the Sydney CBD. He may be using the rail network to travel.
